Patients are advised to avoid sexual intercourse for 2-3 days before the test. We perform the test between 9:30am to 1:30pm Monday to Friday and results may be available the same day if a sperm function test is not required. You may need medication to improve the quality and quantity of your sperm in order to achieve a spontaneous natural pregnancy or increase your chances of success with IVF.
