Unblocking Fallopian Tube Treatment
Have you and your partner been trying for a baby with no luck? Here at the Regency International Clinic, we offer a wide spectrum of treatments to help with an array of health issues. One of our speciality treatments is unblocking fallopian tubes, also known as Fallopian Tube Catheterisation.
The fallopian tube is an extremely delicate part of a woman’s body and at times can become blocked – resulting in difficulty with becoming pregnant. We’re one of the few centres in the world that offer this treatment to unblock or reverse tubal blockage and are well-practised to do so. The procedure is completed with the assistance of using a catheter and has proven to hold an 80-90% success rate.
Once we have discussed the procedure, we will complete our initial medical consultation with a Hysterosalpingogram (HSG) abdominal x-ray under local anaesthetic. This will confirm the blockage if it’s present, and determine if our fallopian tube catheterisation procedure will work for you.
The procedure itself isn’t painful – the most sensation you will feel is a tingling, but no severe pains. The operation is completed within a 20-40 minute time gap also, allowing you to continue your day as normal after the operation.
